Sometimes they just don't make enough Dynamite. . .

Well Folks - after two weeks that included my Dad being in the hospital again, a LONG commute and a lot of stress at work which was soothed by a deep dish pizza and a beer, I pretty much ate my way through the weekend, and found I'd gained two pounds this morning. I was tempted to blow up the scale.

Back on track tomorrow, to stay on top of maintenance, but for today, a video.  I was not present when this happened, but we had a vacation cottage just up the road and I DO remember it, and my friends at school talking about it.

Exploding whales - you can't make this stuff up.

  1. I sure hope your dad is feeling better. Older folks can get knocked down by some stuff the rest of us "youngsters" can shed off. Damn that pizza looked good!

    1. Chicago All Veggie deep dish. Yum.

  2. Wishing your dad all the best. I admit, since gluten had to leave my life, pizza is something I miss. GF is never as good.

  3. Hari om
How attitudes change... forty six years on and we wonder why the whale/s arrived on the shore and is there anything we can do to prevent it happening, and use their carcasses as a scientific opportunity for investigation.

Excuse me; I have to go make pizza...
    Eyes-on... YAM xx

  4. Sorry to read your dad was in hospital again. I know that must be incredibly stressful for you. I too have not b een eating well for the last couple months. I know once things settle down here, I can get back on track with eating and exercise. I just have to get thru this next month... Hang in there my friend!

Thanks for visiting. Having been fortunate enough not to have to diet as a young woman - hitting middle age to find my Metabolism moved to Aruba and didn't even send a postcard was a rude awakening. Thanks for sharing the fun and the pain of getting back in shape. Note: If you are a stranger and include a link in your comment - it will not be posted, to ensure no SPAM or viruses are shared.
